Finding stone that fits your design – choosing color, pattern and movement – is a four-step process that’s as exciting as it is personal. Cold Spring Granite will facilitate the selection process and help you choose the perfect stone.Once you’ve decided, your fabricator will purchase the slabs, fabricate them to specifications and install them according to the schedule of the build.
Determine which type of stone fits your design (granite, marble, travertine, limestone, onyx, etc.).
Second:
View the whole slab to consider color, pattern and movement. Your fabricator may show you samples or send you directly to a stone dealer to choose (visit a Cold Spring Granite Selection Center). Remember: no two stones are alike. The more closely you examine the slab that will become your countertop or fireplace surround, the more confident you will be in how it aligns with your design.
Third:
Select your stone no earlier than 30 days before installation, typically about the time sheetrock is installed in a new home or remodel.
