Schermerhorn Symphony Center

Schermerhorn Symphony Center

Opportunity

Home of the Nashville Symphony Orchestra, Schermerhorn Symphony Center is a perfectly blends the latest acoustical technology with timeless and classical architecture. The design team decided natural stone would be the common thread tying the new Center together with its surroundings. Indiana Limestone was used for the main cladding while Carnelian granite was chosen as the accent material to trim the base of the building. Carnelian® granite was also used for the Center’s Community plaza paving, a pedestal base for the bronze The Recording Angel sculpture, and two water features.
