Located in the heart of downtown Nashville, the Tennessee Bicentennial Capitol Mall gives visitors a taste of the state's history and to serve a monumental marking of its two hundred-year anniversary. 

Details

  • Major roads, counties, rivers and other geographic details are intricately carved into a 200-foot granite state map


  • An inscribed granite wall borders the Mall's water feature, called "Riverwalk", sharing the state's waterway history


  • Dedicated in 1997, the World War II It features an 18,000-lb. granite globe floating on 1/8 inch of water


  • The World War II memorial also features large granite markings giving a brief history of significant events by taking authentic photos and carving them into the panels
