Memorialization Options

Granite Memorials:

Until 1930, a dull gray, upright granite monument was the norm. We introduced color and polish to the industry with Royal Melrose®, and today we offer more than 730 contour and carving designs on more than 100 granite colors. Our skilled stone artisans carve and sketch directly onto the granite surface and portraits and emblems may be affixed to further personalize the memorial.

Bronze Memorials:

When bronze memorials first began to appear in the late 1940s, we saw an opportunity and introduced Granit Bronz®, our bronze-on-granite memorials. We have expanded to a variety of innovative granite-on-stone products.

Private Mausoleums:

The grandeur and majesty of mausoleums (above-ground burial chambers) has served memorializations for centuries. Launched in 1988, Private Estates offers customized, exquisitely designed structures for families who wish to provide enduring testimonies to lives well-lived.

Community Mausoleums & Columbariums:

As a response to the increasing desire for aboveground burials, Granit Bronz Mausoleums® provides pre-assembled or customized entombment options that allow communities to memorialize loved ones in beautifully designed settings customized with quiet space for meditation, gardens and chapels.

Plaques & Signage:

Accolade® Architectural Collection (e.g., to honor veterans, dedicate buildings and parks, identify landmarks, sign streets, etc.) and Accolade® Expressions (one-of-a-kind bronze plaques and signs created from original photographs, logos and illustrations to honor achievement, team victory, family legacy, etc.) serve the market with artistic, enduring bronze signs and plaques.
