Polished

A highly reflective, smooth finish that illuminates the vibrant colors and splendor of the stone's natural appearance.

Diamond 8

Cold Spring Granite's proprietary honed finish for granite. Diamond 8 further highlights the crystal structure and deepens the background hues of the stone.

Diamond 10

Rich in contrast, reflective crystals enhance the appearance and depth of darker granites.

Thermal

Rough to the touch, this finish exhibits sparkling crystals against a lightened background appearance.

Honed (Only available on Kasota Valley Limestone^TM)

A non-reflective smooth finish that draws out the natural colors and variations of the Kasota Valley Limestone^TM

Velvet

Muted swirls and deep tones accentuate the soft-textured finish

Machine Smooth

Accentuated with light swirls, the natural traits of the stone become masked by the Machine Smooth process.

Diamond Ground

With a slight feel of roughness, the natural color and grain structures of the stone are muted in appearance.

Rub & Sand

Light in appearance, this semi-smooth finish creates a subtle contrast between the color and crystals of the stone.

Textured

Rough, yet soft to the touch, this Textured finish contrasts the sparkling crystals to the deepened background color of the stone.

Sawn

Slight grooves remains on the surface muting the natural traits of the granite stone.

Diamond Smooth (Only Available on Kasota Valley Limestone^TM)

Another non-reflective finish for Kasota Valley Limestone^TM with more subtle contrasts and hightlights, similar to our Sawn finish on granite.

Bush-Hammer

A Coarse surface, crystals are uniformly fashioned to create a light-on-dark, "stippled" finish.

Bush-Hammer (& Jet)

Similar to Bush Hammer, the crystals are futher enhanced highlighting a darker background appearance.

Split & Dressed

Trimmed with clean edges, Split & Dressed features a natural and rugged cleft-faced design.

Rock Pitch

While the ends are uniform, a Rock Pitch has a rugged, crystal-laden surface.

Rock Face

Reflective crystals are abundant on this natural cleft and concave surface.

Split (Not Dressed)

Resembling a Split & Dressed appearance, the edges of the Split finish remain naturally untrimmed.

Diamond 100

Textured to reveal the beauty of this semi-rough surface, Diamond 100 is a vibrant finish with a rich background appearance.

Diamond 200

Featuring many of the attributes of Diamond 100, this finish offers a pronounced, jagged background.
