Garden Mausoleum Marks Phase I

January 28, 2002

COLD SPRING, Minn. - United Presbyterian Cemetery of Calcutta, Ohio has big plans for increasing its aboveground memorialization options. The cemetery has commissioned Granit Bronz, of the Cold Spring Granite Memorial Group, to supply and install a 120-crypt garden mausoleum as phase I. Future plans involve adding a second garden mausoleum with an enclosed chapel.

Completely clad in Carnelian and Moonlight Gray granite, the garden mausoleum will provide cremation options to families with its 48 niches on the end-wall and 16 niches on what will be the future interior of the Chapel. All crypt and niche fronts will be made of Polished Carnelian granite and bronze memorialization plaques will be of Granit Bronz's Serenity series. Opposite of the end-wall with niches will be a Polished Carnelian granite mural, 4'-2" x 8'-0", of the Praying Hands. Moonlight Gray granite will be used for the roof stones and trim. Construction will begin in June 2002 and will be provided by Cold Spring Granite's Construction Services division.
