Truncated Dome Pavers Now
Add Natural Beauty With Granite
October 15, 2003
COLD SPRING, Minn. - Since 2001, the federal government has recommended truncated domes as tactile cues for the visually impaired at hazardous vehicular and pedestrian routes. To answer this need, Cold Spring Granite created ADA compliant, granite truncated dome pavers-the first of their kind on the market today. "Landscape architects really don't like working with what's currently out there," said Rick Reischl, Director of New Product Development. "These people are highly skilled at creating beautiful landscapes and hardscapes, and the last thing they want is bright colors marring their designs. They're looking for something that will complement their projects and look great over the long run, and that's what we've done" said Reischl. Cold Spring's new granite pavers offer a sustainable solution that naturally fits the color scheme of virtually any environment.
Cold Spring Granite's revolutionary truncated dome pavers are available in nine essential colors, Rockville White, Carnelian, Lake Superior Green, Sunset Beige, Sierra White, Academy Black, Mesabi Black, Iridian and Radiant Red, as well as a variety of custom colors. The standard sizes in highest demand are1' x 1', 1' x 2', 2' x 2' and 2' x 3' with thicknesses of 1-1/4", 2", 3" and 4-1/4" but alternatives are also available.
